There is a weather channel here and I watch it a lot more than I'd care to admit. Weather patterns can be quite interesting. When they show the animated maps with the radar images, it looks cool. You can see how it's moving over the planet and it looks like it's a creature crawling around on the Earth.
It's really too bad I can't sit on the moon, speed up time and watch the Earth for awhile. I bet it would be interesting for a while. Then I'd go to Jupiter.
It's a nice day to start again...
It's a nice day for a...
-24C (approx -11F)!
That was how cold it was outside this morning, not factoring in the wind chill factor. It's been snowing all day.
Put on your boots kids and let's go outside and play!
You're right, it's too cold for that.
Let's stay inside and have some hot cocca.
DAMN it is HOT and HUMID again today!
It sucks!!!! Sure I could always crank on the a/c, but power/hydro is expensive! For my apartment, it's about $40 to $60 a month for hydro/electricity. If I turn on the a/c, it jumps to $100 to $130.
So I try to wait as long as possible to turn it on. I think that this week I just might have to if this continues. Of course, if everyone does that, we may throw ourselves into another blackout.
There was an insane amount of thunder and some rain this morning around 6am, however it didn't do much to cool things down.
I want a storm to make the humid air go away!
Today I'm hoping it will rain actually. The weather network claims that thunderstorms are on the way, and I am hoping they're right. A good thunderstorm is something to be enjoyed, and we haven't had one for a while.
Of course, I don't want the power to go out, but other than that, YAY THUNDERSTORM AND RAIN!
People seem to think I'm weird when I say I like the rain. I've always been aware that I am a bit of a water baby. I can't swim worth a damn but I love being in or on the water...
I don't, however, like being insanely cold - something that is always worse when you're wet...
Doesn't happen in England. Scotland, yes. But not in England. Not often.
This isn't Canada, y'know?
Today it's snowing. I know most of you think that in Canada it snows all the time, but ask Tiki, he can testify that we do indeed get some hot weather. What we do get are four distinct seasons. That being said, winter is now here and autumn is over. Snow has hit the ground and some of it hasn't melted away. My toes are freezing.
If you are looking to buy some snow, look no further!
I have fresh Canadian snow available by the pound.
Order now, supply is limited.
I like sunny weather. It's nice. I hate it when it's hot. I spent most of Saturday drinking water non-stop. It was horrible. I stank too because the sweat was just pouring off of me.
i've got back sweat today... it's 106 degrees F and i just walked 3 miles to my car... texas sucks in the summer
See, I have nothing against this tropical heat. It's nice... It's just bloody inconsistent and, in this country, it'll swing from hot and hummid to wet and miserable in the space of a week. You think it could get it's story straight...
Sunshine I'm ok with. I don't like horribly bright days because they blind me and try to burn my skin. When it's a nice warm sunny day and I'm out camping, nothing beats that.
I don't like lollypops.
Damn sun burn sucks!
Even with a hat, tshirt, sunglasses, and tons of sunblock, I still burnt horribly.
The worst is when I itched my arm without thinking.
Sun burns HURT!
There are some huge thunderstorms (supercells) tearing across the province and luckily, some of them rolling through my city.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS IN EFFECT.
I wonder when the power will go out and sever me from the internet.
It must be said:
Thunderstorms are sexy.
