Call Centres

I just seem to get caught on phone calls to technical help lines or customer accounts teams for about 2 hours out of every week.

It doesn't sound like much but after that period of time sitting around listening to some pre-recorded voice telling me that I am moving up the queue and that my call is important, it starts to sap my will to live.

Moreover, when one of the swine finally pick up (because you only want to make a quick addition to your account) they tell you that you've been put through to the wrong number and that they'll transfer you to another department where you promptly find yourself in another queue with the same annoying pre-recorded voice and the same damn annoying music loop.
